GPXSee 16.1, developed by Martin Tůma, is a cross-platform Qt-based GPS log file viewer and analyzer that falls under the Navigation / GPS category and is designed to open, visualize and interrogate virtually every common GPS track format encountered by hikers, cyclists, pilots, drivers, marine users and drone operators. The application natively reads GPX, TCX, FIT, KML, NMEA, IGC, CUP, SIGMA SLF, Suunto SML, LOC, GeoJSON, OziExplorer PLT/RTE/WPT, Garmin GPI & CSV, TomTom OV2 & ITN, ONmove OMD/GHP, TwoNav TRK/RTE/WPT, GPSDump WPT, Velocitek VTK, Vakaros VKX, GoPro GPMF videos, DJI videos, Sony RTMD videos, Google CAMM videos, Novatek/VIOFO/Blackvue/Vantrue/70-mai dash-cam footage and geotagged JPEG or MP4 files, while also resolving geo URIs per RFC 5870. Tracks can be overlaid on user-definable online map services (OpenStreetMap/Google tiles, WMTS, WMS, TMS, QuadTiles) or on a wide range of offline map containers such as MBTiles, PMTiles, OziExplorer, TrekBuddy, Garmin IMG/GMAP & JNX, TwoNav RMaps, GeoTIFF, BSB/ENC charts, KMZ, AlpineQuest, Locus/OsmAnd/RMaps SQLite, Mapsforge vector, QCT, GEMF, Osmdroid SQLite, Orux, COROS and ESRI World-File georeferenced images. Dedicated graphs present elevation, speed, heart rate, cadence, power, temperature and gear ratio/shifts, and SRTM HGT elevation models can be merged for additional altitude context. The viewer supports multiple simultaneous tracks, POI layers, real-time GPS position, full-screen mode, Hi-DPI/Retina rendering, and printing or export to PDF/PNG for trip documentation or sharing. Since its initial release a second major version line has been maintained, and the current 16.1 build continues to receive refinements that keep the lightweight tool relevant for both casual outdoor enthusiasts and professional GIS analysts who need a quick yet powerful way to inspect geospatial data without heavier GIS suites. GPXSee is available for free on get.nero.com, with downloads provided via trusted Windows package sources such as winget, always delivering the latest version and supporting batch installation of multiple applications.
